Hello there and welcome to my little slice of the internet. My name is Amie, I am a mum of two, and the face behind lilúna. I play every role behind the business from your first point of contact, designing, creating and finally packing your order. So when you place your order you know it’s just little old me who will be taking care of you the whole way through the process.

My sewing journey started just before lockdown after my son was born. I have always known how to sew the basics but never attempted to make clothing. It was a complete spur of the moment idea. I cut around one of my son’s rompers and that’s where it all started - and I still have that romper to this day! With the help of my mum and my nanas, I have developed a deep passion for creating clothes and have now created a brand from the ground up. My absolute everything goes into each and every piece of clothing, every design and every fabric choice. I sew around my other job as a nursing assistant at my local hospice - a job I adore and feel very lucky and proud to have. 

The name lilùna is a tribute to all the women in my family who have had some sort of influence on my love of sewing and inspired me in some way. Lisa, Lily, June and Prunella. I love them dearly and have definitely got my creative side from them all in some way.

After all the ups and downs that comes along with a small business, I have managed to push through, with passion on my side, and I am over the moon with where my little business is now - it is all thanks to you wonderful lot - my customers!

I have a love of neutral florals and linens, frills and big bows which I hope to bring more to you in my ready made clothing collections I will be creating over the rest of the year onwards. I have so many ideas and things I’d like to do, I hope you stick alround for the journey.
